The first-ever Atlanta "Prelude to Spring Brunch" was a huge success! Held February 10 at the Cherokee Town Club, the event was co-sponsored by the Office of Admissions and the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations and was organized through the efforts of Laura June McDuffie M’89, chapter president Colleen Tilden B’96, and Ely Elefante, A’80. Approximately 145 current and prospective students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff were treated to a delicious brunch and the beautiful sounds of Loyola’s own chamber orchestra. University representatives in attendance included College of Music Strings Coordinator Dean Angeles, College of Music Dean Ed Kvet, Malcolm Woodall, vice president for institutional advancement, School of Law Interim Dean James Klebba, Edward D’Antoni, B’74, L’80, School of Law annual fund and alumni director, Pam Occhipinti, B’91, G’94, L’94, School of Law director of career services, University President Bernard Knoth, S.J., Peter Morgan, admissions counselor, and Trish Moser, A’93, Alumni and Parent Relations director.
