Chapter Notes
The Greater New York City Alumni Chapter hosted a summer send-off reception on July 15, 2008. Alumni welcomed several incoming freshmen from the New York metropolitan area to the Loyola family. The reception gave alumni the opportunity to meet members of Loyola’s centennial Class of 2012 and their parents. Thanks to Dan Roberti, A’04, G’07, and his father, Vincent, for serving as gracious hosts.
The New York City Alumni Chapter hosted a cocktail reception at the Yale Club on March 13, 2008. Over 50 alumni, parents, and friends attended the event and visited with University President, Rev. Kevin Wm. Wildes, S.J., Ph.D. Fr. Wildes updated alumni on the many accomplishments of current students and faculty. He also discussed his role as chair of the Ethics Review Board for the City of New Orleans. Fr. Wildes spoke about the many ways that Loyola is assisting in the rebirth, recovery, and renewal of New Orleans.
