Loyola University New Orleans Welcomes New Vice President of Enrollment Management

John D. Head, Ed. D., joined Loyola University New Orleans as vice president of Enrollment Management on June 19, 2017.  Dr. Head comes to Loyola from the University of West Georgia where he served as the associate vice president of Enrollment Management since July 2012. Previously, he served a decade as vice president of Enrollment Management at Shorter University in Rome, GA.

“I am extremely humbled and honored to be joining Loyola University New Orleans,” says Dr. Head. “Loyola is committed to educating the whole person and has a great academic reputation.  I am very excited about working for such an outstanding institution and am looking forward to serving alongside so many of the talented and gifted individuals on this campus.”

Dr. Head joins Loyola’s Office of Admissions at the culmination of a successful recruitment cycle.  As of June 28, there are 817 students that have committed to joining Loyola’s incoming class this fall, a 28% increase from this date last year.  This current incoming fall 2017 class also shows a 53% increase from metro New Orleans and an enhanced academic profile from the previous year.

On behalf of the Office of Admissions, thank you to all of the proud alumni that assisted in the 2016-2017 recruitment cycle!  We could not have pulled in a freshman class of this size or quality without your support.  Do you know a prospective student who would like more information about Loyola?
