Loyola Loyal Day 2018 Highlights

In a 24 hour period, on April 11 and 12, alumni, students, faculty and staff, and Loyola supporters helped make history at Loyola. In the two day period 571 Loyola supporters came together and made gifts to Loyola totaling more than $37,453! We are so thankful to all of our donors and advocates who helped make the third annual Loyola Loyal Day of Giving a success! Thank YOU for being part of such an extraordinary day for the Loyola community and supporting our mission.

Loyola Loyal Day Highlights:

  • Support for Loyola University New Orleans extends well beyond Louisiana with gifts coming in from 34 of the 50 states in the U.S.

  • The Class of 2003 lead the way with the most gifts per class.

  • The Class of 1974 was the most generous with the most dollars given per class.

  • With 83 gifts to the Chapel of St. Ignatius we are much closer to the 200 gift goal that will unlock a matching $250,000 gift to the Chapel.

  • The most popular gift designation was the Loyola Fund with over $16,000 donated in just 24 hours.

Thank you again to all of our Loyola Loyal supporters. If you have not made your gift and would like to be a part of this successful campaign, it's not too late. A gift of any size makes a difference and ultimately impacts our alumni participation rate. A high alumni participation rate for Loyola carries weight in U.S. News & World Report’s America’s Best Colleges ranking. It is universally regarded as a key metric used to determine national rankings and financial support received from corporations and foundations.
