Loyola University New Orleans Alumni Association presents several honors annually to outstanding individuals who have shown their commitment to Loyola and their communities.

Alumni Legacy Scholarship

Presented annually to students who have a parent, stepparent, grandparent, or sibling who is a Loyola graduate. Ignatian Spirituality Alumni Fund 
The Ignatian Spirituality Committee of the Loyola Alumni Association encourages alumni of Loyola University to seek opportunities to grow in their spirituality. The committee has an opportunity for alumni to apply for the Ignatian Spirituality Alumni Fund when attending retreats, seminars, lectures, pilgrimages, etc. with a significant cost. To apply, applicants must be alumni of the university and provide a written request to the committee. Simply write a one-page request to the Ignatian Spirituality Committee addressing (1) how this trip to Spain enhances your life and spiritual journey and what you hope to recieve from this opportunity; (2) Explain how recieving this grant will impact your decision to attend the trip. Requests can be sent to sbradley@loyno.edu.

Adjutor Hominum Award

Presented by the university at the Alumni Association Jazz Brunch each spring, the award honors an outstanding alumna or alumnus whose life exemplifies those characteristics that Loyola seeks to form in its graduates--namely moral character, service to humanity, and unquestionable integrity. Alumni Association Graduation Award

This award is offered to Loyola University New Orleans graduating seniors. A $1,000 award will be granted to one graduating senior from each of Loyola’s five colleges—College of Humanities and Natural Sciences, College of Social Sciences, College of Business, College of Music and Fine Arts, and College of Law. Athletics Hall of Fame

Presented annually by the Hall of Fame Commission, the award recognizes individuals or teams for outstanding accomplishments in intercollegiate athletics at Loyola. Recipients are recognized during half-time of a Wolfpack men’s basketball game each February, and honored at a post-game ceremony.  Past recipients »

College of Law Glass Honoree

This award is presented to someone affiliated with the College of Law at the Law Alumni Bar Convention Reception during the Louisiana State Bar Association Annual Meeting. This award honors individuals who have volunteered service to the university or the college, or has furthered the cause of the college or association.  Past recipients »

College of Law St. Ives Award

This award is presented annually at the Annual Meeting to a graduate who represents the high standards of the profession of law.  This award honors those who have volunteer their service to the university or the college, or furthered the cause of the college or association.

School of Mass Communication Den of Distinction

The honor recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves nationally by a lifetime of accomplishments or by extraordinary achievement. Nominees, through their accomplishments and achievements, are innovative leaders, set new standards of excellence and clearly serve as role models for Loyola’s students, alumni and our greater community. Young Alumna(us) of the Year 

The Alumni Association will honor one young alumnus/a who has given most generously of their time, talent, and treasure to their alma mater and community. This annual award will be presented by the university during the Young Alumni Christmas Cocktail each December. Nominations are due by November 1 of each year. Award Guidelines
