The Summer Send-Off program is a Loyola University New Orleans tradition that involves alumni and parents who host receptions for incoming Loyola freshmen from their home town during the months of July and August. The receptions connect students with alumni and other students and make them feel a part of the Loyola community before they even arrive on campus.
Summer Send-offs allow incoming freshmen and current students, alumni, parents, and friends to meet, interact, and begin the Loyola experience. Hosting a Summer Send-off is a great demonstration of generosity and love for the University. This year the Summer Send-Off’s will take place in the following chapter cities: Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Puerto Rico, San Francisco, and St. Louis.
The Alumni Association would like to offer a sincere thanks to all of those generous alumni and friends of Loyola that will be hosting send-offs this summer.
