Spring Crawfish Boils
Crawfish season has arrived! Crawfish boils are a huge favorite among alumni, family and friends at Loyola University New Orleans. The crawfish season starts in early spring and continues into the summer months. Each year the Alumni Association welcomes the newest class of alumni with a huge crawfish boil the day before graduation. The Annual Senior Crawfish Boil, hosted by the Alumni Association, is planned for Friday, May 20th, from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Alumni, parents, faculty, staff, friends, family and current students can join in the festivities. The cost to attend is $25/person, students are just $10/person and graduating seniors are free. Children 12& under are free, as well. This annual tradition is co-sponsored by the Offices of the President, Finance & Accounting, Enrollment Management, Mission & Ministry, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs. Registration for the Senior Crawfish Boil will be opening in March! Be sure to check back to register your family & friends.
You don’t have to be in New Orleans to enjoy crawfish season. Several chapter cities across the U.S. know a thing or two about this Cajun crustacean and they celebrate with their own chapter crawfish boils. Check back soon to see if a chapter crawfish boil will be happening near you!
